Sun Dance
One year my husband and I took my father on a trip to see the Canadian Rockies. We also enjoyed seeing many animals. On the way home I sat in the back or our rented motor home sketching a grizzly bear that seemed to be moving with the rhythms of the land. Almost a year later I painted the bear from my sketch and from memory. An actress purchased the original. A Salish woman living on the Flathead Indian Reservation purchased the first published print. |
